As I was reflecting back on thing this month, it was exactly one year ago that we were finishing our family trip to the snow in Mammoth when the COVID shutdown happened. We felt very lucky to have been able to do all the activities we did while up there. It was a strange time for sure because of everything shutting down as we were leaving. I knew we would visit again but had no idea then that the lockdown would go on for a while.
Mammoth is such a great place for all seasons. Especially for someone like myself who likes the outdoors and sports and photography. I feel like I can never soak up enough of the High Sierras while up there. The wind blowing through the pine trees is always very relaxing to me. On this trip, we had fun tubing, snow play, making a fire in the condo every evening, eating at our favorite restaurants in town @thestoverestaurant, @thewarminghutmammoth, @morrisonsmammoth, just to name a few. Couldn’t go skiing because they had just closed the mountain, but had a great time anyway.
