While in DC, I was on the hunt for any cherry blossom trees I could find, in hopes that they might be in partial bloom since it was only the beginning of March. I found a great spot for photos with these trees all around the Washington Monument. Obviously not yet in full bloom, but enough to capture the great colors with some nice bokeh effect.
All were shot using my favorite travel lens, my Sigma 28-70 art lens. I then used Lightroom to bring out the colors even better.
