Spent the weekend down in beautiful San Diego by the ocean. Decided to do some portrait photography and try out my new Sony 35mm G-master lens to show off the excellent bokeh and results.
I love military history and the tour of the USS Midway is spectacular! The ship is massive. The sleeping quarters are very small. The ships anchors and massive anchor chains are crazy huge. I loved being up top and sitting in the different jets and helicopters on top the carrier.
The Midway and Seaport Village is a great area to relax my walk around. A lot of great views, shops, and restaurants. Also below is 5e famous statue of the sailor kissing the nurse when WW2 was over. Also new to the area is a statue of Bob Hope, surrounded by various soldiers, while a recorded speech from one of his USO tours plays over the speakers. Pretty cool to see!
