10 years later, we made it back to New York. We love NY and I spent a good 2 months planning out the 6 days of the trip to soak up as much of the city as possible.
Loved the chilly winter weather that got us into the holiday mood. We were fortunate to snag the reservation for the Statue tour, but also they had just reopened the tours to the crown of Lady Liberty and we were able to do that on this day. What a trip to hike up all the stairs, especially the narrow spiral staircase to the crown. The views were amazing. I was a little surprised at how truly small the crown area is. It’s only capable of holding about 8 people at a time.
