Winter in May at Lundy Lake

Didn’t think that I would need to give thought to the potential for a snow storm in the first weekend of May when I booked time to go. Mid 30’s to low 20’s and big fat snowflakes falling on us. Snow drifts were high and thick. Most of the lake was still frozen over, but there were a hearty few that were attempting to fish.

Definitely a lot of fun. Even more fortunate that Mono Cone was open for the season, so, lunch and a chocolate vanilla cone to go!
