From the early onset of planning our Iceland trip, I knew that Kirkjufell was a must see destination. From the first time seeing photos from other photographers of Kirkjufell, it evoked images from the Lord of the Rings movies for me (big fan!) so I knew I had to visit.
We were so lucky with the weather as it had just snowed in the northern areas we drove thru to get here and I wasn’t sure what weather would be like. As you can see, it just doesn’t get any better for photography in Iceland with these photos below. IMO, postcard-worthy.
