Over the years of my travels up and down Hwy 395 in the High Sierras, as a kid I always wondered about these 2 houses as we drove by. We would always banter on about buying one of these fixer-uppers and what that would be like. Once I got a little older, the urge to pull over to the side of the highway and check out this area made it into one of my trips. I love the character of these 2 old houses and the views are positively amazing. I would love to photograph here in all seasons. It has become a minor landmark all on its own.
